The Honda group sold 11,622 units last month, which represents a 21% increase compared to February 2016.

The Honda group sold 11,622 units last month, which represents a 21% increase compared to February 2016. If we isolate the Honda division, the Japanese manufacturer had an excellent month with 10,409 units registered, a gain of 22%.

There is no doubt, Honda is on a roll. The 2017 Honda HR-V, which saw its sales explode 101% last month to finish at 982 units sold, are among the models that explain these impressive sales numbers. This is of course a new sales record for the Honda HR-V.

The Honda CR-V also had an excellent month in February, setting a new record with 3,240 units sold, about 400 more than in February of last year.

“Coming off of a modest start to 2017, the Honda brand gained traction in February with remarkable monthly sales,” said Dave Gardner, Senior Vice President of Operations, Honda Canada Inc. “Record-breaking HR-V and CR-V sales drove the February sales spike, accompanied by strong consumer support for the Civic hatchback, the newest member of the versatile Civic family.”
