Sales of Honda Canada rose 2 percent last month with 15,015 units registered, a new record for a month of November for the Japanese manufacturer. The Honda division sold 13,183 vehicles last month, an increase of 1 percent compared to the same month last year.

The Honda Fit and the Honda HR-V stand out

The Honda Fit had a very good month in November, seeing its sales increase by 74% while the subcompact SUV Honda HR-V finished the month of November with 1,550 units sold, a new record for the model in November.

“Contrary to the current industry trend, Honda’s November record was achieved through strong small car sales,” said Dave Gardner, Senior Vice President of Operations, Honda Canada Inc. “Fit and HR-V led the way, with support from Civic, as the expanded 10th-generation Civic family continues to insert a fresh dimension to an already robust car lineup. We’re very pleased to see the Civic maintaining its healthy lead in the passenger car sales race, as we head into the last month of the year.”
