The 2024 Honda Passport: Does it Fit You?

When it comes to finding the perfect car, it’s not just about transportation; it’s about finding the right fit for you. It’s like clothes, except a lot more expensive and a way more significant commitment. Some want the 6-wheeler truck for their job or extreme adventures, and others opt for the small sedan to fit those tight parking spots in the city. A mid-sized SUV is a perfect choice if you want to enjoy the best of both worlds. That’s definitely needed when living in Orleans. Learn what the 2024 Honda Passport provides and how it stacks against the competition.

FOR EVERY JOURNEY

The Honda Passport comes equipped with all the necessary driving capabilities for you to begin your new adventures. With Honda’s Intelligent Traction Management, you can choose between snow, sand, and mud. Although it’s not a vehicle built for extreme offroad travel, it is perfect for outdoor adventures like camping and hiking near Gatineau Park, skiing, or kayaking.

WHO AND WHAT CAN YOU TAKE

With a second row with plenty of legroom, you can comfortably fit 5 adults with ease. Although the 2024 Honda Passport doesn’t come with a third row, it makes it up with plenty of cargo space! With the back cargo space being 1,430 L, you have plenty of space for your camping/hiking gear, luggage from your guests, or even your dog. Not only does it have a substantial amount of storage space, but it also has a towing capacity of 2,268kgs, perfect if you have a camping trailer or any dirtbikes.

Don’t worry about safety. All Passport models (Sport, Trailsport, and Black Edition) are equipped with every safety feature because Honda doesn’t believe in trading your safety for your money. The Honda Sensing Technologies include Forward Collision Warning System, Collision Mitigation Brake System, Lane Departure Warning System, Road Departure Mitigation System, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Lane Keeping Assists System. With all of these safety features, you can drive confidently in any condition and park with ease in those tight spots in the city. You’ll feel secure while driving scenic routes like the Ottawa River Parkway.

IF IT’S NOT BROKE, DON’T FIX IT

There aren’t many changes to the 2024 Honda Passport compared to the 2023 model. The biggest change Honda made was to the middle console. It is now larger and easier to access with the capability of fitting a full-sized tablet.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE HONDA PASSPORT AND HONDA PILOT

The most significant and most noticeable difference between the Honda Passport and the Honda Pilot is the size. While the Passport is a mid-sized SUV, the Pilot is a full-sized SUV. The Pilot has a third row and is capable of seating 7-8 passengers, while the passport has two rows capable of seating 5. Although the Pilot might have more room and certain tech upgrades, the Passport is better equipped for off-road driving!
